Why Kia is Optimizing 2020’s Car Segments
Kia will optimize 2021’s car segments in a new marketing campaign that will feature the automaker’s best-selling models, according to a new report.
Kia will roll out a new advertising campaign in the fall, focusing on “the new generation of high-performance cars, including the all-new Kia Optima and Kia Soul,” the report said.
Kosovo has been working with the automakers for the last three years to build a new car segment.
The automaker had already planned to invest $3 billion in the segment, but it was pulled after the U.S. announced a sanctions regime that targeted Russian companies that aid the Ukrainian military.
Kesel Co., a Ukrainian carmaker, has been providing a variety of services to the Ukrainian armed forces, including supplying fuel to the country’s air force.
It has also partnered with Kia to provide some parts and services to Kia’s customers in the country.
Kysar, a Ukrainian oilfield operator, has also been helping to build the new segment.
